What we store and why

When you subscribe, we validate your email by sending a confirmation link. This makes sure the address is real and that you actually want to receive updates.

After you click the confirmation link, we verify you are confirmed with that email one last time to ensure you are the subscriber so we can remember your confirmed status on future visits.

We protect the signup form with Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots and spam out of the flow.

When you like a blog post, a separate cookie remembers which posts you've liked so your choices persist between visits.

That's it. No tracking, no ads, no third-party data sharing. You can clear these cookies or unsubscribe at any time through the preferences tab.

Subscriber cookie — remembers you completed signup so we don't ask again.
Email validation — we send a confirmation message to prove the address is real before saving your subscriber state.
Confirmation check — after you click the link, we make sure you are confirmed before setting the cookie.
Turnstile protection — helps ensure signup submissions come from real people, not bots.
